Jesse is a 6 year old neutered male, large mixed breed dog who was found stray with a house mate Aug 12/11. The owners claimed the other dog but decided to leave Jesse behind to see if MLDHS could find a new home for him. He has been wandering off their acreage and they'd like him to go to a home where he is confined in a fenced yard rather than roaming free and getting into possible traffic situations etc.
Jesse is a very sweet and friendly boy who loves to meet new people. When he is excited to see you he will literally smile. Some may confuse it with a snarl, but when he does it his whole butt is wagging along with his tail, so he is quite happy about it! Jesse loves to go for walks and car rides. He loves to spend time with people. He has lived with another dog, and is good with submissive male dogs, females and puppies. He is great with kids. This friendly boy is looking for a loving home! Jesse's adoption fee is $100 which includes spay/neuter, shot, rabies shot and microchip.
